About these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and the repairs we carry out at Phone Repair Experts. By booking online or leaving a device with us you accept them. Nothing here takes away your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Bookings

• A booking made on this site is a request for an appointment, not a confirmed slot. We confirm by phone, WhatsApp or email.
• Prices shown online are the prices in our repair system at the time you look. They are a guide, and the final price is confirmed at the counter before any work starts.
• If a fault turns out to be different from the one described, we will tell you what it needs and what it costs before we do anything.
• You can cancel or move a booking at no charge by letting us know before the work has started.

Repairs and warranty

Every repair we carry out is covered by our 12-month warranty, which is explained on the Warranty page. It covers the part we fitted and the work we did, and it does not cover new accidental or liquid damage, or work done on the device by anyone else afterwards.

Your device and your data

• Please back up your device before leaving it with us. We take care with every device, but we cannot be responsible for data that is lost during a repair and we do not offer a backup service unless you ask for one.
• Tell us your passcode at the counter so we can test the repair properly.
• Remove your SIM card and any memory card. We cannot be responsible for either.
• We do not access your personal files for any reason other than testing the repair.

Collecting your device

We will contact you when your device is ready. If you have not collected it 90 days after we tell you it is ready, we will write to you again; if it is still uncollected after that, we may charge a storage fee or dispose of the device as the law allows. We will always try to reach you first.

Liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss of profit or business, or for a device that was already failing for a reason we could not see.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

Using this website

We try to keep prices, opening hours and service details accurate and up to date, but they can change. The site is provided as it is, and we may change or withdraw any part of it.

Links to other sites, including Google Maps and WhatsApp, are there for convenience. We do not control those sites.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
