Who we are

Phone Repair Experts repairs phones, laptops, tablets and consoles at two shops: 96 Walton Road, East Molesey, Surrey KT8 0DL, and 196 High Street, Hampton Hill, Hampton TW12 1NL. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

• Booking details you type in: your name, email address, phone number, the device and fault, the shop and time you choose, and any notes you add.
• Your booking and repair records: what we found, what we fitted, prices, and warranty dates.
• Messages you send us by WhatsApp, email or phone, including any photos of the device you choose to send.
• Basic usage data on this website: which pages are viewed and whether a booking was completed. This is counted in aggregate to see whether the site is working. It is not used to identify you.
• Your cookie choice, stored in your browser so we do not ask again.

Incomplete bookings

If you fill in your name and contact details but do not press the final button, we may still save what you entered so a member of staff can offer to help you finish booking. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Why we use it

• To arrange, carry out and guarantee your repair, and to contact you about it.
• To keep the records we need for warranties, accounting and legal obligations.
• To improve the website and understand which services people look for, using anonymous usage counts.
• To answer questions you send us by WhatsApp, email or phone.

Who we share it with

Your details are kept on our own system, only so we can manage your booking and carry out your repair.

We never sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Cookies

The site works without marketing cookies. We use a small amount of local storage to remember your cookie choice, and to keep you signed in if you have an account with us. Usage counting only runs if you accept it, which you can change at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

WhatsApp and other apps

Our WhatsApp buttons open a chat in WhatsApp. Anything you send through WhatsApp is handled by Meta under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, as well as by us. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, call or email instead.

How long we keep it

• Booking and repair records: for the length of the 12-month warranty.
• Incomplete booking details: up to 90 days, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
• Website usage counts: in aggregate only, with no profile of you kept.
